This page explains how articles on Yelmu are researched, written and corrected, so you can judge how far to trust them.

1. Scripture first

Every article begins with the Bible text. Quotations come from the King James Version (KJV), and we link to the full passage on Bible Gateway so you can read the surrounding verses and compare translations.

2. Context before conclusions

We look at how a number, word or symbol is used across the whole Bible before drawing any conclusion. A single verse taken out of context is never enough.

3. Honest about what the Bible doesn't say

Many popular ideas — angel numbers, birds as messages from the dead, fixed "dream dictionaries" — do not come from Scripture. When that's the case, we say so near the top of the article, then explain what the Bible does teach on the subject.

4. Original writing

Our articles and prayers are written by us. We don't copy other websites, and we don't publish automatically generated text without careful human review and editing. Images on Yelmu are original illustrations made for the site.

5. Respect for different Christian traditions

Where faithful Christians disagree (for example, on how God speaks through dreams today), we describe the main views fairly rather than presenting one as the only option.

6. Not professional advice

Yelmu offers biblical teaching and encouragement, not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Articles touching on health, grief or anxiety encourage readers to seek qualified help as well as prayer.

7. Corrections and updates

We review articles regularly. When we make a meaningful change, we update the date shown at the top of the article. If you find an error, please tell us and we'll fix it promptly.

8. Advertising

Yelmu is supported by ads. Advertisers never influence our content, and ads are kept separate from article text.
