About Yelmu

Last updated October 25, 2026

Yelmu is an independent Christian website that answers the questions people type into search engines late at night: Is 444 in the Bible? What does it mean to dream about snakes? Is a cardinal a sign from heaven? How do I pray for someone going into surgery?

Many pages on these topics mix the Bible with numerology, superstition and guesswork until it's hard to tell which is which. Yelmu exists to separate them clearly, so you can see exactly what Scripture says and decide for yourself.

What we cover

  • Biblical Numbers — what numbers such as 3, 7, 12 and 40 mean in Scripture, and what the Bible does (and doesn't) say about repeating numbers like 111, 444 and 777.
  • Dream Meanings — common dreams looked at through biblical symbolism, tested against the whole of Scripture.
  • Signs & Symbols — birds, colors and everyday signs, with a clear line between biblical teaching and folk belief.
  • Parables — the parables of Jesus explained one by one, with their Bible verses, setting and lessons for today.
  • Bible Study — practical tools such as chapter and verse counts, who wrote each book, chapter summaries and a free chronological reading plan.
  • Prayers — original prayers for family, health and daily life, each paired with the verses behind it.

How we write

Every article starts from the Bible text itself. We quote the King James Version (it is in the public domain, so you can share our quotations freely), link to the full passage so you can read the context, and explain how a symbol is actually used across Scripture before saying anything about what it might mean for you.

When the Bible doesn't mention something — angel numbers, cardinals, teeth falling out in a dream — we tell you that plainly at the top of the article. Then we show what Scripture does say that's relevant. You can read the full details in our editorial policy.

Who is behind Yelmu

Yelmu was founded and is edited by Shadush Sachiska, who writes and fact-checks every article. Yelmu is not affiliated with any church or denomination, and we try to present views that Christians widely share. Where Christians disagree, we say so.

How Yelmu is funded

Yelmu is free to read and is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. Advertisers have no say over what we write. See our privacy policy for how ads and cookies work on this site.
